At 6:30 a.m. DFC. M. McCarroll of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to the SMECO construction work site on Southern Maryland Blvd. in Dunkirk for the report of a burglary to a construction trailer.
The victim, New River Electrical Corporation, reported that sometime over the Thanksgiving holiday between Nov. 23 and Nov. 28 unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the trailer, ransacking it and stealing power and hand tools.
The estimated value of the damage and items taken is approximately $7,000.00. The Criminal Investigative Team will continue to investigate this case.
