8 Elementary School Students Treated After Ingesting Edibles During Recess

WALDORF, Md. – This afternoon eight students at were treated after ingesting edibles during recess.

On November 8, 2021, at approximately 1:10 p.m., emergency units responded to C. Paul Barnhart Elementary School at 4800 Lancaster Circle in Waldorf for the reported overdose of multiple students.

Multiple ambulances responded to the scene. Reporting the students would be initially taken to a local hospital.

All eight students were released to their parents after signing care refusal forms on the scene.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
