CALVERT COUNTY, Md. – On June 29, 2026, a 13-year old juvenile was released on probation with electronic monitoring after having been found involved in the rape of two 6-year old girls.
The Calvert County State’s Attorney’s Office, who prosecuted the case, recommended that the juvenile be placed in a secure “out-of-home” facility where he could receive treatment and counselling.
Instead, the juvenile was returned to the home where some of the abuse allegedly occurred. Although the victims no longer live in the home, they still reside in the same community.
State’s Attorney Robert Harvey stated: “This case highlights everything that is wrong with our juvenile system. There is no accountability; no one’s responsible for anything. It’s hard to imagine how this disposition makes the world safer for the citizens of Calvert County.”

I can’t stand it ANY longer & have agreed with my husband to get out of MD after 60 yrs & raising our family! Like CA it’s a beautiful state that’s been decimated by liberals. Ugh!
Not acceptable! Were the children injured?
They were RAPED what do you think????🤔
They are 6 years old! Of course they were hurt.
Of course they were injured. They were raped.
They were raped….injured??? YES! For the rest of their lives. The rapist got better than they did.
This is insane!
This judge needs to be held accountable. This is egregious.
He didn’t get discipline right for his crime. All the shows him is that he did nothing wrong. It was OK. This is ridiculous.
Imagine how the parents of the littles feel. Those poor children. That 13 uear old needs help now! It should have been mandatory. “Monitoring” him will not help his mental defect. It seems as if those in a position to make this world a better place are failing miserably. There are little to no consequences and that seems to be the new normal. Very disheartening.
Retrial at 18
The judge, who allowed a rapist back out on the street and the politicians who enacted these laws that don’t consider victims, all should be the ones in prison.
Way to go calvert, im so glad im not the father of those girls
What? Are you kidding me? The people who are making these decisions about criminals need to be held accountable. Two 6 year old little girls are at risk as are every other girl in this mentally warped 13 year old boys community. Calvert County Judicial System needs to do better.
PREACH!!
privilege kid just as some very wealthy parents and very good friends in the justice system Y’all read the news this doesn’t happen to anyone
50 years non less but you know what happened JUDGES WILL BLAME THE GIRLS…
This is the epitome of lawlessness. OBVIOUSLY ankle monitors do not work. OBVIOUSLY this is a disturbed young man that should not see the light of day! EVER! You need to vote the judge out, disbarred, and if anything happens to anyone else because of the ineptitude of the “judicial “ idiot, he needs to be held as an accomplice. Full stop.
PREACH!!
This is so WRONG. This child should go through a program to help him. He SHOULD NOT GO HOME. The PARENTS of this boy need to pay also.
Overly stimulated with sexual or violent content will cause this behavior. we are hurting our young. you can no longer bring down the hammer on the offender it is thee entire system that has failed. I call for reform that is not monetized by grifters.
Those poor girls. That pos child will have to face his judgement day. And the judge, SHAME ON YOU!!! You will face yours too.
