
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Calvert County Parks & Recreation has temporarily closed Grays Road Dog Park due to an invasion of ground bees.
The closure went into effect at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, and will remain in place until further notice.
According to Calvert County Parks & Recreation, the facility will reopen once officials are able to mitigate the bee situation.
Residents are encouraged to check Calvert County Parks & Recreation for updates on when the dog park will reopen.
No reopening date has been announced.
