LUSBY, Md. — Emergency crews responded to a reported motor vehicle crash with injuries Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 25, 2026, at Little Cove Point Road and Cove Point Road in Lusby.
The call was dispatched at approximately 2:56 p.m. Initial dispatch information indicated that a Ford may have rolled over. During an open 911 line, a caller could reportedly be heard telling a male occupant not to move.
The driver was able to self-extricate from the vehicle before or as emergency crews arrived.
Calvert County fire and EMS units responded to the scene. The extent of the driver’s injuries and whether anyone was transported to a hospital were not immediately available.
Drivers should use caution in the area while emergency personnel work at the scene.
