Waldorf, Md. — The March of Dimes of Suburban Maryland is beginning the selection process for open positions on our local Executive Leadership Team. The Executive Leadership Team members serve a two-year term and consists of monthly meetings and community outreach. All members play a vital role by assisting in raising awareness and promoting the March of Dimes mission, to improve the health of all babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality, throughout the community.
In order to qualify for the Southern Maryland Executive Leadership Team, community leaders must meet the following guidelines:
- Knowledge of local area businesses and the ability to make introductions to March of Dimes staff
- Ability to create a Corporate March for Babies Team and internally goal set and recruit members/participation
- Flexibility to participate in meetings and/or conference calls regarding the Executive Leadership Team’s objectives and goals (approximately once a month)
All applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview by a March of Dimes staff person and all finalists will be voted on by the current team members. Notification takes place by letter, informing each applicant of the committee’s selection.
