On Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 1:12am, Tpr. W. Couter responded to the ABC Bar and Lounge in California for a Trespassing complaint. During his investigation, Shelby Maurice Kerrick, 26, of Lusby, became extremely belligerent and was highly intoxicated.
After being told numerous times to stop acting in a disorderly manner Mr. Kerrick or he was going to be placed under arrest. Mr. Kerrick became even more agitated and resisted all lawful attempts to make the arrest. Mr. Kerrick assaulted Tpr. Couter and Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office during the arrest.
Mr. Kerrick was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (1382006573)
