On Friday, May 24, first responders from Charles County were honored by Med Star Southern Maryland Hospital Center at their annual ceremony, “An Evening of Champions.” The first responders were recognized for a call in October 2012, when they responded to a patient in cardiac arrest.
Their actions resulted in restoration of the patient’s vital signs, and he was delivered to Med Star Southern Maryland Hospital for cardiac intervention.
