The new 2012 St. Mary’s Hospital commemorative calendar now available is also a piece of history. The calendar takes you on a journey through memory lane and on to the present day. The special limited edition calendar honors the hospital’s 100 year history with an array of historic facts, health observances and numerous photos of individuals and facilities throughout the years. Each month includes a short piece that tells a little of St. Mary’s history and weaves it in with present day information.
Calendars are being sold in the Hospital Auxiliary’s Gift Shop for $10 each as long as supplies last. They make great gifts and are a wonderful keepsake in addition to being very practical
Issuing the special edition calendar is just one of the ways St. Mary’s Hospital is celebrating its Centennial this year. Some of the other celebrations include an art and essay contest for school children, celebration banners on the hospital grounds all year, as well as on Leonardtown Square in March 2012, and a corn maze at Bowles Farms come fall.
