Megan Leanne Murphy
California,MD— 11-23-2015 – Theft – Deputy A. Schultz responded to the Best Buy in California, for the report of a theft. Witnesses reported a male subject fled the store after stealing merchandise.
A female, who was with the male suspect, remained on the scene. The suspect, Megan Leanne Murphy, age 22 of Charlotte Hall, was unable to provide a receipt for items obtained from Target.
Contact was made with the Target Store in California, and a search of their inventory system showed they were missing the items in Murphy’s possession. Murphy was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
She was charged with Theft Less than $1000.
