LEONARDTOWN, Md. — One person was injured Monday afternoon in a reported head-on crash between a car and a truck that shut down part of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown.
The crash was reported around 1:28 p.m. on May 18, 2026, in front of Vintage Values Thrift Store at 25995 Point Lookout Road.
Emergency crews requested a Maryland State Police medevac helicopter for an adult female who was reported unresponsive. MSPAC Trooper 7 responded to the scene.
A second person involved refused care at the scene.
Point Lookout Road is closed at Potato Hill Farm Lane while firefighters, EMS crews and law enforcement work at the scene. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and expect delays.
The crash remains under investigation.
