Camilliha L. Somerville

Lexington Park, MD— A Lexington Park woman has been charged with second-degree assault after she allegedly attacked another woman at Bristol Avenue in the South Hampton area. 

The defendant was identified as Camilliha L. Somerville, 22, of Lexington Park. The victim said Somerville had texted her (victim) when she was at her friend’s house. 

The victim went outside and said, “Somerville attacked her, punching her in the face and back of the head, slamming her head on the concrete curb,” according to charging documents. 

Somerville also used an electronic stun device on the victim’s forehead, left arm and left leg. 

Somerville has not received a scheduled court appearance, however, she was released from commitment after posting a $10,000 bond. 

Somerville faces a maximum jail sentence of 35 years and/or a maximum fine of $2,500.
