Two Flown To Trauma Center After Shooting At Lexington Park Apartment Complex

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Two people were flown to a trauma center Saturday evening after a shooting at an apartment complex in Lexington Park.

Emergency crews were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. on June 13, 2026, to the 46000 block of Hilton Drive for a reported shooting incident.

Initial reports indicated the shooting occurred at the Spark Pax River apartment complex.

Two patients were reportedly found with gunshot wounds. One patient suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, while the second was shot in the femur area.

A medevac was pre-launched for both patients, and firefighters established a landing zone at Lancaster Park.

Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 7 responded and transported both patients to an area trauma center.

No suspect information was immediately available.

Police remained on scene Saturday evening investigating the shooting.
