The first meeting of the Southern Maryland Chapter of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network will be held next Tuesday at 7pm in Leonardtown.
Those who are interested in fighting global warming and want to make a difference here in Southern Maryland are urged to attend.
There will be a brief introduction to CCAN, information about our upcoming campaign, the role of the chapter and details on how to get involved. The upcoming months are going to be critical for building the climate movement in Southern Maryland, especially with federal legislation on the horizon.
