At 8:13 p.m. on April 10, Officer W. Jackson of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office observed two motorcycles on northbound Leonardtown Road near Gallant Green Roadin Hughesville that were speeding and passing other vehicles on the shoulder of the road.
When the motorcycles stopped for a traffic light a short time later, Officer Jackson activated the lights and siren on his cruiser. The motorcycles fled north.
One of the motorcycles, driven by Glenn Patrick Holloway Jr., 19, of Temple Hills, struck a concrete curb about a quarter-mile past the traffic signal. He sustained minor injuries and was transported to Prince George’s General Hospital. Charges are pending.
Police did not locate the second driver.
