At 2:50 am, on Saturday, February 10, TFC Evans responded to a report of an assault in the 21000 block of Carmen Woods Drive in Lexington Park. 

Contact was made with the female victim, 26, of Lexington Park.  She advised she was assaulted by the male suspect, 37, of Lexington Park who left the scene on foot. 

Investigation continues charging the male suspect with 2nd degree assault.
