Two separate accidents on Monday, Jan. 3 caused for a nightmare of a rush hour for evening commuters.
Police and rescue crews responded to report of an accident shortly after 4 p.m. along the northbound lanes of Three Notch Road at First Colony Blvd. in California.
Crews arrived on the scene to discover two separate crashes. The first accident involved a green Toyota Rav4 and a silver Toyota Sienna. The driver of the minivan was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with minor injuries.
The second accident was a result of the first crash, as drivers tried to avoid the backup from the initial crash. A yellow Mini Cooper and a white GMC pickup were involved, causing only property damage.
No word if any charges were made. Authorities continue to investigate.
