At 7 a.m. May 18, Charles County Sheriffโ€™s officers responded to the report of a strong-arm robbery on the bike path near Western Parkway and St. Patrickโ€™s Drive in Waldorf.

The victim, a 40-year-old Waldorf man, was on his bicycle when four suspects approached him. The suspects knocked him off the bicycle, assaulted him and stole his money, his bicycle and a black apron from the restaurant where the victim is employed.

The suspects fled on the bike path toward the Lancaster neighborhood. The victim walked to his place of employment and called police. He had minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

Officers searched the area for the suspects, described only as black males wearing black shirts, but did not locate them.
