An abandoned house on Point Lookout Road in Ridge burned to the ground Friday night, and Maryland State Fire Marshals are reportedly investigating the blaze as arson.
Ridge Volunteer Firefighters arrived on the scene near 7:05 p.m. and reported the house was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters put the fire under control by 7:30 p.m., but most of the structure was already gone.
There were no injuries reported.
Deputy Maryland State Fire Marshals responded to the scene and are investigating. More details to come.
