At 12:37 P.M. on May 27, 2011, crews from Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department Co. 7, Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad Company 79, Bay District Volunteer Fire Department Station 9, Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad Station 39, and Solomon’s Volunteer Fire Department Company 3 EMS were alerted for the rescue assignment on the 44000 block of St. Andrews Church Road (Rt. 4). Police were already on scene for a rear-end style collision with one patient to be assessed. Co.7 responded with Squad 7, Station 9 with Engine 92, and Station 39 with ambulance 388. One patient was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.
