Update

Homicide Unit detectives arrested one suspect in connection with a double fatal shooting Thursday evening in Clinton. He is 20-year-old Sean Davis Jr., of the 18000 block of Merino Drive in Accokeek. The decedents in this investigation are 19-year-old Robert Glasco of Nova Avenue in Capitol Heights and 19-year old Shaquan Chambers of Surratts Village Drive in Clinton.ย 

On January 3rd, at approximately 7:05 pm, officers were called to the 5900 block of Surratts Village Drive for a shooting. They discovered Chambers outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later. At approximately 7:10 pm, Glasco arrived at an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

The preliminary investigation reveals Glasco and Chambers were among two groups of individuals, who were known to each other, who met to conduct an illegal drug transaction on nearby Sweden Road when gunfire was exchanged between the two groups. Preliminarily, itโ€™s believed Davis set up the deal with the intention of robbing individuals involved in the transaction. He is charged with first and second degree murder and related charges. The investigation continues.
