HUNTINGTOWN, MD – In the wake of a very wet weekend, an amazing discovery was made at the Huntingtown Creek. On July 23, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources shared photos of shark teeth found in the creek after being exposed by heavy rains over the weekend. Six teeth in total were found including one nearly as big as an adult-size hand. 

This discovery comes just in time for the Summer tradition of “Shark Week” which runs this year from July 22 – July 30.
