At 1:30 a.m. Aug. 26, members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call at the American Legion on Sixes Road in Prince Frederick.
A disorderly crowd had gathered outside and a fight ensued.
Sgt. Brian K. Bowen subsequently arrested Johnson S. Bright, 53 of Port Republic, after he was observed punching another man in the face.
He was charged with second-degree assault.
