A week ago The Bay Net began its search for particularly marvelous mothers who deserve recognition this Mothering Sunday. Judging from the responses Southern Maryland is teeming with super moms!
Selecting the three winners from the numerous wonderful moms who were nominated was incredibly difficult for the team that was given the arduous task. Each Mother’s Day story was touching, and each mother quite marvelous. However, three stories of mothers that particularly stood out were chosen, and a further three selected for honorable mention.
The Bay Net’s most marvelous moms for this year are as follows:
Linda Davis*, nominated by her daughter Karrie
– winning a gourmet dinner for two at the highly acclaimed Tavern at the Village, in Wildewood
Cathy Currie, nominated by her daughter Crystal Currie
– awarded a gift certificate for Willows Restaurant, in Leonardtown
Kim Chainay, nominated by her daughter Cassie Chainay
– awarded a gift certificate for $25 to spend at Catamaran’s Restaurant and Beach Club located on Solomon’s Island
