TALL TIMBERS, Md. — Bargain hunters and local residents will have an opportunity to shop for unique finds this weekend as The Landings at Piney Point hosts its Annual Community Yard Sale.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 6, throughout the waterfront neighborhood, starting at Driftwood Drive. Residents will offer a variety of items for sale from their yards, including household goods, children’s toys, vintage décor, handcrafted items and other secondhand treasures.
Organizers expect shoppers from across Southern Maryland to attend the annual event, which has become a popular community tradition.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive early for the best selection and to bring cash to simplify transactions with individual sellers. Street parking will be available throughout the neighborhood, and the event is open to the public.
The community-wide sale offers residents an opportunity to declutter while giving shoppers a chance to discover bargains and one-of-a-kind items in a neighborhood setting.
