Staff naturalist, Hester Burch, will lead youngsters and their caregivers on a hands-on exploration of the natural world of Annmarie Garden. This session is all about Parts of a Flowers. Families are also invited to bring in their own natural treasures to share for show & tell. Motherโs Day Fused Glass Hearts! Parent/Child Workshop โ Sunday, April 30; 1:00-3:30pm; Ages 10 & up

Garden Sketch Journals โ Tuesday, April 25-Wednesday, April 26; 10am-3:30pm
Nancy Thompson leads a workshop that teaches techniques to sketch quickly so that you can capture your garden through sketching and journaling. This is a great class for all levels. The beginner can learn how, the artist can learn how to use sketching for reference and pure enjoyment. Students will be sketching from photographs and painting small watercolor studies. Stained Glass: Next Steps โ Wednesdays April 26-May 24; 6:00pm-9:00pm
Refine your stained glass skills in this 5-part series. Choose from a broad variety of projects and create a 20-30 piece suncatcher/panel using the copper foil technique. Must take the Intro to Stained Glass class first. This series is great to take again and again–just choose a different project each time!
Intermediate Pottery โ Wednesdays, May 3-June 7; 6:30-9:30pm
Explore hand-building techniques including pinch, coil, and slab construction, before focusing on basic wheel thrown pottery. Class will concentrate on basic shapes of cylinders and bowls.
Art by the Glass: Fused Glass Tiles Workshop โ Friday, May 12 (one day); 6:00-9:00pm
Bring your favorite beverage and enjoy this relaxing workshop. Students will learn to create fused glass tiles. Designs will be created with bits of stained glass, frits, stringers, and mosaic chips. Each student will create two 4″ x4″ tiles. Tiles will be fired in a kiln and picked up at a later date.
