On Oct. 15 at 10:30 p.m., Trooper Cavill responded to a residence on Kyler Road in Huntingtown for the report of an assault. 

Investigation revealed that Joel Andre Taylor Jr., 25 of Prince Frederick, and Shakaye Rochelle Creek, 20 of Dunkirk, were involved in an argument which then led to a fight. 

Both Taylor and Creek were placed under arrest and transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and were later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. 

Taylor was also served with an outstanding warrant.
