Maryland State Fire Marshalls are investigating a case of arson in Calvert County.
Over 35 firefighters from Huntingtown, Dunkirk and North Beach responded to report of a house fire in the 7900 block of Old Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach on Aug. 22 around 9:30 p.m.
Crews arrived on the scene to discover fire in a single story wood framed single story home.
Investigation revealed unknown suspects ignited combustible materials in the laundry room.
No injuries were reported. Damage to the home is ringing in at $50,000.00
