Bring your family, neighbors and friends to the La Plata Town Hall this Saturday for a day of fun, food and entertainment!
Stroll around the lawn on both sides of the Town Hall and visit over 50 vendors selling acrylic and oil paintings, poetry, jewelry, books, photographic prints, pine needle baskets, wall art, wood signs, pillows made from African-print fabric, hand-dyed yarns, puppets, crochet art, decorated glasses, purses, note cards, origami, and much, much more.
Several non-profit groups will be on hand to share cultural, environmental and historical information. There’s face painting for children plus an Art Tent and Big Cube where they can create their own designs.
Entertainment includes a puppet show, Korean drummers and dancers, and a wide variety of music. Get your picture taken with “Lord Baltimore,” the hand-carved carousel horse. Spoons BBQ, Sweet Frog, LifeStyles and Hawthorne Ice Cream will offer delicious food to satisfy every taste.
