At 1:20 am on Friday, Dec. 2, TFC A. Rossignol responded to the OCI Pub on Lighthouse Road in Piney Point for a reported assault. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim.
The victim advised that the attacker, who he identified from previous encounters, came into the bar and yelled out that he wanted to fight a white boy. The man then struck the victim in the face, twice with his fist. The attacker was pulled off of the victim by another patron, and then fled the scene of the assault.
A search for the suspect was conducted by Maryland State Troopers and St. Mary’s County Deputies but they were unable to locate him.
The investigation is continuing with charges pending against the suspect.
