On Aug. 31 at 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Barrington Drive in Waldorf for an attempt robbery.
Investigation revealed the victim – a food delivery man – was in his car getting ready to deliver food when the suspect approached, lunged through the car window and tried to grab the food. The victim sped off and the suspect ran.
Officers canvassed the area and learned the address in which the victim was going to deliver the food is a vacant house.
