Antwan Jasper Thompson
Waldorf, MD— On November 25 at 6:43 p.m., officers responded to the 10000 block of Bramley Court in Waldorf for the report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers interviewed the victim who advised that Antwan Jasper Thompson, who is known to the victim, lured him outside before shooting at him.
After officers obtained the suspect’s name, they ran a computer check which revealed the type of car the suspect might be in, as well as his address. Officers set up near Thompson’s home and conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle as he passed their location. He was apprehended without incident.
Officers recovered a stolen handgun and a mask which was worn during the shooting. Thompson, 29 of Lanham, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder. Pfc. A. Coulby, Cpl. S. Stanley, and Pfc. B. Virts investigated.
