Her love for journalism grew while attending Salisbury University, where she discovered a passion for meaningful conversations and authentic storytelling. When she's not writing, Tessah loves spending time outdoors exploring Mallows Bay and Purse State Park, where she enjoys hiking, fishing, wildlife watching and soaking in the sunshine. Her favorite local restaurant is Marie's Diner, where she also works and has been a longtime customer. Tessah believes the best journalism comes from fully immersing herself in the stories she tells, whether that means spending the day with local watermen, volunteering alongside community organizations or experiencing someone's profession firsthand.
