Automated Message Leads To Discovery Of Serious Three-Vehicle Collision In Waldorf

WALDORF, Md. – A serious motor vehicle accident occurred on Berry Road near Waldorf Market Place on February 16, 2024, around 1:15 p.m. The accident was reported by an automated message stating that the phone of an individual was involved in a severe crash, with no one responding on the other end.

Emergency personnel responded immediately to the scene, where they found three vehicles involved in the accident. Multiple occupants were reportedly injured, with one individual trapped inside their vehicle. Firefighters were able to quickly extricate the trapped occupant.

EMS evaluated the patients at the scene and transported a 22-year-old male to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
