The Alzheimer’s Foundation will sponsor National Memory Screening Day on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at various sites all over the U.S.
This year, the Loffler Senior Activity Center and Northern Senior Activity Center will serve as screening sites from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Loffler center is located at 21905 Chancellors Run Road in Great Mills and the Northern Center is located at 29655 Charlotte Hall Road in Charlotte Hall.
Citizens with concerns about memory retention may schedule a free, 20-minute screening at either site by calling (301) 475-6019.
The screening may indicate that medical follow-up is recommended.
