PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — A Prince Frederick man was arrested after allegedly trespassing at a 7-Eleven store and stealing packaged cookies, despite having been previously barred from the property.
On Feb. 10, 2025, deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a disorderly subject at the 7-Eleven on Solomons Island Road. Before their arrival, authorities were informed that the suspect had left the store and was walking toward Church Street.
Deputies quickly located and identified the suspect as 18-year-old Brandon McNeil Robinson, whom they recognized from prior encounters. A records check confirmed that Robinson had been indefinitely trespassed from the 7-Eleven location in April 2024.
When deputies searched Robinson, they found a package of chocolate chip cookies in his pocket, marked with the store’s branding. Robinson admitted to taking the cookies before officers arrived.
Robinson was taken into custody and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center, where he was charged with trespassing on private property, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail and/or a $500 fine.
Court records indicate that Robinson was released on his own recognizance following his initial appearance. His trial is scheduled for April 18, 2025, at Calvert County District Court.
This case remains open, and further legal proceedings will determine the outcome of the charges.
