BCI Vice Narcotics Detectives, assisted by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Team, executed a Search and Seizure Warrant on a Mechanicsville home. Detectives discovered five mature marijuana plants, marijuana growing equipment and smoking devices. Suspect Francis Allen Tennyson, 46, was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Marijuana, Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana and other related crimes. Suspect Tennyson’s case will be reviewed by State’s Attorney Richard D. Fritz and additional charges are pending.
A search warrant was executed on the home of Matthew Paul Derry, 22 of Lexington Park. Suspect Derry was the target of an investigation that has been ongoing for sometime. Suspect Derry was found to be in possession of prescription medication and related paraphernalia.
