At 3:35 p.m. Dec. 14, two employees of Burger King in Solomons advised Dep. Scott Brown that another employee, later identified as Michael A. Salerno, 21, of Lusby, had taken money from their purses and was sitting at a table inside the establishment.

Brown made contact with Salerno and discovered that in addition to the victims’ reported stolen items, Salerno was also in possession of items stolen from the Solomons CVS Pharmacy.

Salerno was arrested and charged with theft.
