A meeting of creditors involved in the Southern Memorial Gardens Chapter 7 bankruptcy case has been scheduled for Jan. 10 in Greenbelt.
According to court records, Badtec Inc., doing business as Southern Memorial Gardens, filed for Chapter 7 Dec. 6.
Online court records list over 520 creditors involved in the process regarding the Dunkirk cemetery.
“The county is not involved in the bankruptcy,” said Commissioner Susan Shaw [R] during the county commissioners’ Dec. 20 meeting.
According to court documents, the Jan. 10 meeting is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at 6305 Ivy Lane, Greenbelt, which is identified on the Internet as the Capital Office Park. The meeting will be held on the sixth floor.
The case number is 11-33795.
