HUGHESVILLE, Md. — A pedestrian was struck and killed late Saturday night on Brandywine Road in Hughesville.

The crash was reported around 10:08 p.m. on April 25, 2026, in the area of 6031 Brandywine Road. Initial reports indicated the pedestrian was lying unresponsive in the roadway after being hit.

Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and confirmed the victim had died from their injuries.

The vehicle involved is described as a white Chevrolet Camaro.

Deputies with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded and are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
