On Jan. 12, a woman left her residence on Rodger Drive in Lexington Park, to go shopping. Approximately 15 minutes after she left the residence a witness saw Kirk Ramsey Morgan, 20 of Lexington Park, also exiting the residence.
The witness recognized Kirk Morgan and asked him why he had been inside the residence. Morgan stated he was using the bathroom.
When the woman returned home a short time later, the witness told her she saw Morgan exiting her residence. The woman knew Kirk Morgan so she called him by phone and asked him why he was inside her house. Morgan again stated he was using the bathroom. The woman checked the residence and discovered property missing.
Kirk Morgan was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary and theft under $500.
