SECOND-DEGREE BURGLARY 

On January 6 at 3:00 p.m., officers responded to the 13000 block of Swindler Road in Newburg for the report of a burglary.

Farm equipment was stolen from in and around the victim’s barn.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE 

On January 5 at 9:49 p.m., officers responded to Beth Court in Indian Head for the report of a theft from a motor vehicle.

The investigation showed a purse was stolen from the vehicle. A witness reported seeing a male dressed in dark clothing running away from the area at approximately 9:45 p.m.
