PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On May 7, 2018 several deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office participated in a fundraising event at the Outback Steakhouse in Prince Frederick.  The deputies worked as guest servers in an effort to raise money for the 2018 Law Enforcement Torch Run.  The Torch Run Committed commented, “We cannot begin to express our gratitude for those who supported the fundraiser last night at Outback Steakhouse….the citizens loved their guest servers, James Flynt, Nick DeFelice, Phil Foote, Tony Moschetto, Tim Mohler, Sheriff Evans, Mike Lorenzano, Eddie Bradley and Ricky Cox, who single handedly brought in $1,514.00 in server tips alone!”

We are thankful, and humbled by the show of support we got from the Calvert County community.   The generosity of the public, volunteer Sheriff’s Deputies and employees at Outback Prince Frederick was nothing short of amazing!   As a result, we will be contributing just short of $3,000 to Special Olympics MD from our Outback Tip-A-Cop event.

We hope to be even more successful in contributing to this great cause at our 5K on June 9.  Please visit
