Calvert County Facilities to Close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10

All Evening Activities and Meetings Canceled Due to Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather and the potential for freezing roadways this evening, all Calvert County Government facilities will close today at 5 p.m. All scheduled county government activities and meetings are canceled.

County facilities including government offices and community centers will close at 5 p.m. The Hall Aquatic Center will close at 5 p.m. today and open at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11. The Appeal Landfill will close at 4 p.m. as regularly scheduled and all solid waste convenience centers will close at 5 p.m. County senior centers will close at 4:30 p.m. as regularly scheduled and all Calvert Library locations will close at 5 p.m.

Calvert County public transportation evening routes will also be suspended. The south route serving Lusby and Solomons will end service today at 4:45 p.m. and the Prince Frederick Shuttle will end at 5:30 p.m.
