
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — The Calvert County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at 7 p.m. to receive and consider public comments on proposed updates to Draft Chapter 1: Town Centers and Draft Chapter 3: Dunkirk Town Center Master Plan Update of the Master Plan of Town Centers. The meeting will be held in person and streamed on the county’s YouTube channel.

The hearing will take place in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room at the Calvert County Administration Building, located at 150 Main St. in Prince Frederick.
Residents and other interested persons are encouraged to review the updates in advance. Draft documents may be viewed online, by contacting the Department of Planning and Zoning at 410-535-1600, ext. 2356, or via email at TownCenterUpdate@calvertcountymd.gov.
All written comments will be made part of the official record if received by close of business Tuesday, Feb. 17. Anyone interested can submit written comments to TownCenterUpdate@calvertcountymd.gov or mail to the Planning Commission, 150 Main St., Prince Frederick, MD 20678.
The Town Center conversation has been ongoing as the county works to update zoning maps. This meeting will go over the latest update to the Dunkirk Town Center Master Plan, and the public is encouraged to offer feedback.
