PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Norman Leo Terry, II, 47 of Chesapeake Beach.
Terry is wanted for Failure to Pay Child Support.

Child support is important to pay and some men do duck their responsibility.
But on the other hand the way the system works, now a guy can go to jail just for being unemployed if it is taking a long time…
The courts are also not very good at recognizing mental illness. If a divorced man with children is having a mental health problem and can’t work for a while, the courts often won’t recognize it and the guy can end up being arrested and even jailed.
In this particular case (described in this article) I have no idea why this guy hasn’t been making his child support payments.
