PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – During the week of December 13 – December 19, deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,413 calls for service throughout the community.
Burglary: 21-70703
On December 14, 2021, Deputy R. Jones responded to the 11600 block of 11605 Cowpoke Circle in Lusby, MD for the report of a burglary that already occurred. The complainant advised a rear kitchen window was tampered with and multiple items were missing from inside the residence. The total value of stolen property is $9,950.00.
Damaged Property: 21-71701
On December 19, 2021, Deputy Kwitowski responded to the 2100 block of German Chapel Road in Prince Frederick, MD for a report of burglary/ destruction of property. The complainant advised sometime between 4 p.m. on Dec. 18 and 3 p.m. on Dec. 19, unknown suspect(s) used forced entry to gain access to a vacant residence and damaged several light switches and drywall throughout the residence. The value of damaged property is unknown at this time.
Damaged Property: 21-71091
On December 16, 2021, Deputy Lee responded to 1300 block of Flag Harbor Blvd in St. Leonard, MD for the report of damaged property. The complainant advised sometime between 7 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 8:50 a.m. pm Dec.16, unknown suspect(s) slashed his driver side front and rear tires. The value of damaged property is $300.00.
Mail Tampering: 21-71077
On December 16, 2021, Deputy Lee responded to the 12300 block of Silver Rock Circle in Lusby, MD for the report of mail tampering. The complainant advised he noticed several of his neighbor’s mail boxes open and opened packages laying in the street. Deputy Lee confirmed the numerous open mailboxes and several pieces of mail and an opened FedEx package laying on the ground in the area of Silver Rock Circle. The value of damaged/stolen property is unknown at this time.
Theft: 21-70449
On December 13, 2021, Deputy McCourt and S/DFC Flynt responded to 2500 block of Hillside Drive in Huntingtown, MD for the report of a theft. The complainant advised they were in the process of moving and four TVs and 10 lamps were stolen out of his front yard sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The total value of stolen property is $1,500.00.
Theft: 21-70913
On December 15, 2021, DFC DeLeon responded to the 6700 block of N. Solomons Island Road in Sunderland, MD, for the report of stolen tags. The complainant advised her front vehicle registration plate had been stolen. The value of stolen property is unknown at this time.
ARRESTS:

Zachary Benham Moore, 35
On December 13, 2021, Deputy Strong was dispatched to a traffic complaint for a vehicle that sat through a green light, was then swerving all over the roadway, driving on rumble strips and travelling at speeds of 100 MPH in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Strong attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the suspect vehicle was driving at a high rate, weaving in and out of traffic nearly causing several accidents. The vehicle eventually came to a stop on the shoulder of Rt. 4 just prior to Governors Run in Port Republic. Contact was made with the driver, Zachary Benham Moore, 35 of Abingdon, MD who was observed to have slurred speed and lethargic movements. A vehicle search revealed a cut straw covered in a white powdery residue. Moore was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possess Paraphernalia, CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana, Negligent driving, Reckless driving and Unsafe lane changing.

Ralph Delontay Weems, 41
On December 16, 2021, Deputy Ashley conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Clubhouse Road and Catalina Drive in Lusby, MD for failure to stop at a stop sign. Contact was made with the driver, Ralph Delontay Weems, 41 of Chesapeake Beach, MD who had an active warrant through St. Mary’s County. A vehicle search incident to arrest, revealed suspected cocaine wrapped up in a dollar bill along with brass ammunition. Weems was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana.

Isiaah Lee Raymond, 22
On December 18, 2021, Cpl. Livingston conducted a traffic stop in the area of southbound Rt. 4 and Sweetwater Lane in Lusby, MD. While making contact with the driver, Isiaah Lee Raymond, 22 of Halethorpe, MD, Cpl. Livingston noticed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A vehicle search revealed a loaded 9amm handgun. Raymond was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center. A search of Raymond’s person at the jail, revealed a plastic baggie of suspected marijuana concealed in his underwear. Raymond was charged with transporting a loaded handgun in a vehicle.
