On January 8 at 11:40 p.m., Calvert County DFC T. Rickard conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Virginia Avenue and Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick. He found the driver and lone passenger to be in possession of suspected drugs.
DFC Rickard arrested the passenger, Thomas John Woodward, 24 of Broomes Island, and charged him with possession of marijuana and possession of Oxycodone. The driver, identified as Andrew Jack Myers, 20 of Pilot, Va., was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
