
WALDORF, Md. — A 10-year-old female student was taken to the hospital after being shocked at Berry Elementary School in Waldorf on Friday morning.
The incident was reported around 9:36 a.m. on May 1, 2026, at 10155 Berry Road.
Initial reports indicate the child was shocked while plugging in a computer. School staff responded immediately, and the student was taken to the nurse’s office for evaluation.
Emergency responders were requested to the scene and transported the child to UM Charles Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
