PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Calvert County announced five new appointments to key commissions and boards in the county at the Dec. 2 Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting.
Appointments included additions to the Commission for Veterans and Military Families, the Animal Matters Hearing Board, and the Calvert County Marine Museum Board of Governors.
Mike Benton was appointed to the Commission for Veterans and Military Families, filling the required appointment for a local business owner and operator. Benton is a realtor and serves as the mayor of North Beach.
